PETE DAVIES Joining me now is Deputy Federal Opposition Leader Julie Bishop. Good morning.
JULIE BISHOP Good morning. How are you Pete?
PETE DAVIES I’m well. First question I have to ask you is did you get an invite to Julia Gillard’s send off drinks?
JULIE BISHOP No, it must be in the post!
PETE DAVIES It’s gone astray.
JULIE BISHOP Funny about that.
PETE DAVIES Have the dynamics changed for you guys?
JULIE BISHOP Not really. The Coalition has been expecting the Labor Party to dump an unpopular leader just prior to the election. They’ve done it before, we’ve seen them do it in New South Wales and of course they did it just prior to the 2010 election. They dump an unpopular leader and they think they’re going to trick the Australian people into believing that things have changed. But Kevin Rudd hasn’t changed at all. Leopards don’t change their spots. He’s still a loose canon. He’s still erratic. He’s still chaotic.
