E&OE…
KIERAN GILBERT ....and you have been campaigning in Eden Monaro today?
JULIE BISHOP That’s right I was in Queanbeyan with Peter Hendy today. It was very positive, a lot of people coming up asking questions, very friendly, very welcoming.
It’s an important seat for both sides. I believe we can win it because Peter Hendy has a very strong local background in business and commerce, he seems to be well known, and he’s doorknocked the place and he continues to do so.
So it was a pretty hectic visit but I was buoyed by it.
KIERAN GILBERT Now Kevin Rudd used the word 'evasive' several times in that news conference about the Coalition, about Tony Abbott, on the debates, not agreeing to more than three and also on the costings issue.
Why not get the costings out there sooner rather than later and then you remove that line of attack from him?
