JULIE BISHOP This is not a ministry for Australia. This is not a ministry in Australia’s best interests. It is a ministry that rewards deceit, dishonesty and disloyalty and it is a triumph for factional warlords. Kevin Rudd has rewarded those who have behaved very badly in recent times, undermining their leader and causing chaos and instability within the Australian Government.
It is a ministry of hypocrisy for there are a number of people who will remain as ministers who have said publicly that they think Kevin Rudd is unfit to be the Prime Minister. Kevin Rudd will be surrounded by people like Gary Gray, Tanya Plibersek, Kate Ellis, who think he is incompetent and dysfunctional. Labor remains a bitterly divided rabble with many senior ministers refusing to serve under Kevin Rudd.
